The new FCC chairman talks about the new 2 sided 600 mhz auction. This is interesting because its the first spectrum auction that will compel existing holders of broadcast licences to sell / rent there spectrum in 6 mhz slices. note using current technologies 6 mhz is about 19 mbits of bandwidth.
